Les pronoms at B1 — y et en

The two little words that replace « à + chose » and « de + chose ».
« y » = à + a place/thing
« Je vais à Paris → j’y vais. » « Je pense à mon travail → j’y pense. »
« en » = de + thing, or a quantity
« Je viens de Lyon → j’en viens. » « Tu as des amis ? — J’en ai trois. » (the number stays!).
