Booking lessons with someone you have never met is a leap of faith. So I have removed the risk: your first 20-minute lesson is free, you are never locked into a subscription, and if a paid lesson is not right for you, you get your money back. Here is exactly what I promise.
1. Your first lesson is genuinely free
Your first 20-minute lesson costs nothing and needs no card. We meet, I learn your goals and level, and you get a real taste of how I teach. If it is not for you, we simply leave it there, and you owe nothing.
2. Not happy with your first paid lesson? Full refund.
If your very first paid lesson does not meet your expectations, tell me within 7 days and I will refund it in full, with no forms and no awkward questions. I would rather part as friends than keep money you are not happy about.
3. No lock-in, ever
There is no subscription and no minimum commitment. You pay for the lessons you book and you can stop whenever you like. Lesson packages exist to give you a discount, never to trap you.
4. Reschedule or cancel with ease
Life happens. You can reschedule or cancel a lesson up to 24 hours before it starts at no cost. Full details are in the Cancellation and Refund Policy.

Cancellation and Refund Policy
This policy explains how rescheduling, cancellations, and refunds work for lessons and packages booked on learnfrench.co. It is written in plain language on purpose, because I want the terms clear before you book, not buried in fine print.
1. Your free first lesson
The first 20-minute lesson is free and carries no obligation. If you decide not to continue, there is nothing to cancel and nothing to pay.
2. Rescheduling a lesson
You can reschedule a booked lesson up to 24 hours before its start time at no charge, using your account or the link in your confirmation email. Within 24 hours, rescheduling is offered where my calendar allows but cannot be guaranteed.
3. Cancelling a lesson
Cancel up to 24 hours before the lesson and you receive a full credit or refund for that lesson. Cancellations within 24 hours, or lessons missed with no notice, are counted as used. If something urgent comes up, contact me. I handle genuine emergencies case by case.
4. Refunds on paid lessons
If your first paid lesson does not meet your expectations, you can request a full refund within 7 days of that lesson (see the Guarantee). Beyond that first lesson, individual completed lessons are non-refundable, since the teaching time has already been delivered.
5. Refunds on lesson packages
If you buy a multi-lesson package and change your mind, you can request a refund within 30 days of purchase, as long as fewer than two lessons from it have been taken. I then refund the package, minus the single lesson already taken if there is one (charged at the standard single-lesson rate). Once two or more lessons have been taken, the package is non-refundable: the discounted package price assumes you complete the lessons you committed to, and honouring that is what keeps lessons affordable and the school sustainable. Any lessons you have paid for always stay valid for future booking.
6. How to cancel or request a refund
Manage bookings from your account, or email me at [email protected] with your name and the lesson date. Refunds are issued to your original payment method, usually within 5 to 10 business days.
