💡 À retenir
The « il » here is a dummy subject — it doesn’t refer to anyone, like English « it’s raining ».
« Il est important de » + infinitive (general) vs « il est important que » + subjonctif (specific person).
In speech, « il y a » often shrinks to « y a » (« y a quelqu’un ? ») and « il faut » to « faut » — recognise them!
