Short forms and one very common leftover.
« Il reste quoi ? » — what’s left? — is how you ask about food, time or money in any French kitchen. Fast speech often drops the il entirely: « reste plus rien ».
« Reste là ! » means stay put, and « j’reste pas » — no ne, swallowed vowel — is the normal way to say you are not staying.
