1. A1 — The subject pronouns that start every sentence — plus « on », the one you’ll hear most.

Structure	Exemple	Traduction
je / tu / il + on = nous	Je m’appelle Marie.	My name is Marie.
	On y va ?	Shall we go?
	Tu me comprends ?	Do you understand me?

💡 Astuce : « on » se conjugue comme « il » : on va, on est.

2. A2 — Stop repeating the noun: replace it with a pronoun before the verb.

COD: le·la·les + COI: lui·leur	Je le vois demain.	I’m seeing him/it tomorrow.
	Tu la connais ?	Do you know her?
	Je lui téléphone.	I’m calling him/her.

💡 Astuce : COD répond à « qui/quoi ? » · COI à « à qui ? »

3. B1 — The two little words that replace « à + chose » and « de + chose ».

à → y + de → en	J’y vais tout de suite.	I’m going there right away.
	Tu en veux ?	Do you want some?
	J’y pense souvent.	I think about it often.

💡 Astuce : vas-y ! j’en ai marre ! — deux automatismes du quotidien.

4. B2 — Two pronouns at once? There’s a strict order — and the imperative flips it.

me·te → le·la → lui → y → en	Il me le donne.	He gives it to me.
	Je lui en ai parlé.	I talked to him about it.
	Donne-le-moi !	Give it to me!

💡 Astuce : L’impératif positif inverse : donne-le-moi !

5. C1 — Emphasis, contrast, and the invisible « le » that stands for a whole idea.

	C’est lui qui a raison.	He’s the one who’s right.
	Tu es prête ? — Je le suis.	Are you ready? — I am.

💡 Astuce : « Je le pense » = le « le » qui remplace toute une idée.

6. C2 — The relative-pronoun family at its most refined, and the reprises littéraires.

	Ce dont j’ai besoin, c’est du repos.	What I need is rest.
