💡 La règle d’or anglophone
NEVER a future or conditional directly after si : ❌ si je serais riche → ✅ si j’étais riche.
Memory trick : « les scies (si) n’aiment pas les -rais » — si hates -rai/-rais endings.
si + il = s’il (mandatory) — but si + elle stays si elle.
