Short forms and one very common question.
« Ça donne ! » on its own is enthusiastic approval — that’s great, that works. You will hear it about music above all. Said flatly with a question mark, « ça donne quoi ? » just asks for the result.
Requests get short and fast: « tu me donnes ça ? » replaces any polite formula among friends. And the ne disappears from negatives as always: « je te donne pas ça ».
💡 Focus at this level: Native slang
1. « Ça donne ! » = it’s great. Mostly about music or results.
2. Drop the « ne ». « Je te donne pas mon code. »
3. « Donne ! » alone is blunt but normal between friends.
