Say something is more, less or as … as something else — one simple frame.

The frame

plus + adjective + que = more … than: « Paul est plus grand que Marie. » Swap « plus » for « moins » (less) or « aussi » (as … as) and you can compare anything.

Say it right

The -s of « plus » is usually silent before a consonant: « plu grand ». Before a vowel it links: « plus‿intelligent » (plu-z-intelligent).
