How the street actually compares: grave, trop, carrément.
The intensifiers
« Il est trop fort ! » (so good), « c’est grave mieux » (way better — very colloquial), « carrément plus simple » (flat-out simpler), « vachement plus cher » (way pricier).
Street frames
« C’est pas mieux ça ? » (isn’t that better?), « y a pas photo » (no contest), « c’est le jour et la nuit » (night and day), « niveau prix, ça se vaut » (price-wise, same thing).
💡 « Y a pas photo » = la comparaison est pliée d’avance.
