« devenir » is « venir » with a prefix, and it behaves exactly like it.
Becoming something
devenir is built on venir, so it shares all its irregularities: je deviens, tu deviens, il devient, nous devenons, vous devenez, ils deviennent. The stem changes between singular and plural, and the ils form doubles the n.
