Fast forms and one very common filler.
« Regarde ! » and « Regardez ! » work as attention-getters far beyond literal looking — closer to English “look,” at the start of an argument: « regarde, c’est simple… ».
Spoken forms compress hard: « j’regarde », « t’as regardé ? » with tu as collapsed to t’as. And the negative loses ne: « je regarde pas la télé ».
💡 Focus at this level: Native slang
1. « Regarde, … » opens an explanation. Not about eyes at all.
2. « T’as regardé ? » — tu as becomes t’as in all speech.
3. Drop the « ne ». « Je regarde pas. »
